To give naval recruits an idea of what daily life is like out at sea, I wrote this culture book consisting of twelve original short stories that were compiled into a collection titled “Tales From The Sea.” Inside, we told all sorts of stories from heroic missions to routine military exercises, from travels to foreign lands to local humanitarian efforts.
